This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the narrowest fjords in the world, surrounded by towering cliffs that seem to rise straight out of the water. The landscape is so dramatic and beautiful that it feels like being transported into a fairytale.

We spent a day exploring the park's spectacular views, which offered us a chance to enjoy Norway's famous alpine landscapes. The park is home to several hiking routes that vary in difficulty, from beginner-friendly paths to more challenging treks for seasoned hikers.
We chose the easier routes to take in the views without over-exerting ourselves, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The park is open all year, with no entry fee, making it a perfect spot for those who want to experience Norway's wilderness up close.

We stayed at Fretheim Hotel, which offers incredible views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The hotel combines historic charm with modern amenities, and it's the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. Rooms start at €150 per night, which is a reasonable price considering the stunning surroundings.
