Next on our list was The Pearl Qatar, a man-made island that houses some of the most luxurious shopping experiences in the city. As we strolled along the waterfront, we discovered upscale brands like Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton, making it a paradise for high-end shoppers. While Doha is known for its modern malls, we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Souq Waqif, one of the most iconic spots in the city. Finally, we couldn't leave without visiting Laguna Mall, a slightly more hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Doha. This boutique shopping mall offers a unique experience with fewer crowds and more intimate shops. We loved the calm atmosphere, which made shopping a more personal experience. Currency used in Doha is Qatari Riyal (QAR), so make sure you have some local currency on hand for small purchases. Additionally, while Qatar is a very modern and cosmopolitan place, we recommend dressing modestly out of respect for local customs.
