There are the following main types of deer.
1. Sika deer
A small and medium-sized deer whose males have horns in the second year and females have no horns.
The sika deer is not gregarious, the male deer often live alone, the activity time is concentrated in the morning and dusk, and the living area changes with the seasons.
It is mostly on the semi-shady slope in spring, moves to the forest edge of the shady slope in summer and autumn, and likes to be on the warm sunny slope in winter, mainly feeding on grasses, fruits, herbs, tree buds, trees and crops.
2. Milu deer
A large herbivore, one of the more docile deer.
The female is slightly smaller than the male.
The female elk has no horns, and the male horns are forked like deer.
The long tail is used to repel mosquitoes and flies to adapt to the swamp environment.
Milu deer are gregarious and good at swimming, mainly feeding on Gramineae, liverworts and other young grasses and leaves.
3. Spotted deer
It looks like a sika deer, and it also has some white spots.
Spotted deer live in the grasslands and forests of India and Sri Lanka.
Like to live in groups, generally each group can be up to more than 100.
Spotted deer look very beautiful, male spotted deer head can be up to 1 meter long and divided into three-pronged horns.

4. Reindeer, also known as horned deer
It is the only animal belonging to the deer family reindeer, both males and females have horns.
Inhabit in cold temperate coniferous forests, in a semi-wild state.
The food is mainly litmus, but also the twigs and leaves of bauhinia, mushrooms and woody plants.
The circum-arctic region mainly distributed in the Northern Hemisphere, including Eurasia and northern North America and some large islands.
5. Red deer
The large deer, second only to the moose, has a total of 10 subspecies, named because it looks like a steed.
Male horns, short summer hair, no fluff, generally Auburn.
The back is deeper, the ventral surface is shallow, so it is known as "red deer".
Live in alpine forests or grasslands, like to live in groups.
Summer is mostly active at night and early in the morning, and winter is mostly during the day.
Good at running and swimming. Take all kinds of grass, leaves, twigs, bark and fruit as food, like to lick salt and alkali.
The deer is gentle, kind, psychic and eats grass for a living.
It never harms any animals and likes to live in peace and reproduce.
But there are also powerful animals in the forest that erode them, and deer are usually eaten by manganese beasts.
When a deer discovers danger, the first thing to do is to run.
If running doesn't solve the problem, some buck will use their horns to fight.
The front hooves of the doe are as sharp as a knife, and when they are angry, they kick at the enemy.
Usually only male deer have antlers.
Reindeer is the only kind of deer with horns for both male and female deer, but the horns of female deer are much smaller.
Every winter, the horns of the male deer fall off, and new antlers begin to grow in the spring.
