• Penalty Kick

A penalty kick is taken when an opposing player commits a foul in his own penalty area. A kicker will shoot a ball placed at the penalty spot towards a goal that is only guarded by the opposing goalkeeper. During the penalty kick process, the other players must be outside the penalty box. When a penalty kick has been taken and a goal is scored, the game returns to normal. However, if the penalty kick does not go in, and is still in the playing area, both teams are allowed to take the ball and continue the game.
